(110,630 posts)(Given the widespread measles activity had ACIP not been dismantled by RFK Jr then they likely would have ultimately considered adding that to current adult vaccine recommendations for at least some, which would have made it available under part B, I think--but alas they are gone). If local health departments have not already had funding decimated, they may be able to vaccinate you for free or at a reduced cost with MMR. Call them.
However, Part B SHOULD cover the serology (titer) if recommended by your physician and tested at a Medicare-approved lab.
