5. I agree. Trump himself is mentally deranged and given power

just can't help himself. The problem is, the people who put him in power were going to find somebody to carry their water, and they found and cultivated Trump. These people range from Putin to wealthy RW Americans.

Then there is the base, people who are angry, jealous, needing to blame someone else for their lives, thinking the solution is to blow it all up and see what happens, or just not adequately informing themselves. (I'm not sure they are completely wrong about someone else being to blame, given income inequalty and the power structure, but they find a way to support the perpetrators rather than the solution).

All of the above were required to create the Trump dictatorship. We can get rid of Trump and the same people could create another. We have to address the whole ecosystem that brought us here, not just Trump.
