No fucking shit it's an intentional act, vehicles don't normally just blow up.

(15,366 posts)Are there even any of those still around?
Had a friend way back in the day who stuffed a 351 Cleveland engine and a 4 speed trans in it, it was a butt ugly car, but it was FAST.

(3,186 posts)If they're referring to the Mexican ship crashing, it seems like it's too soon to know. But Patel is a pretty big ass, so maybe that's what they're talking out of.
On edit: I read "intentional" as "international." Oops.
Wonder if they can provide an example of accidental terrorism?

(1,476 posts)If it is what I think it is (a right wing-terrorist), then I don't want to hear the right bitching about 8647 when one of their own bombed a fertility clinic. Again, I am not saying that is what occurred, but I am very cynical about what is going on. Now the FBI, headed by an insurrectionist, thinks this is terrorism? I don't believe a word they are saying. This isn't the first time we have seen people do violent attacks something like this. The cynic in me really thinks there is something going on behind the scenes. I don't believe their hypocritical messaging when they say, "Oh this is terrorism" while at the same time they are trying to cut women's care.

(113,378 posts)he's probably just a fine coating of greasy ash in the immediate vicinity. This wasn't a little bomb.
He might have used a fuse like McVeigh did, in which case he's long gone and will have to be traced through seriial numbers and/or VINs on any piece of metal they can find. It will take a while.
The dead person in the parking lot might not have had anything to do with it, it could have been someone having a very unlucky day and cutting through the lot on the way to the hospital.
We're not going to know much for a while, so expect people who are expected to say something when they can't possibly know anything for sure (unless the bomber mailed a manifesto to the media) to make silly statements like the above.

(1,476 posts)I have to be suspicious of what is going on. Again, maybe it isn't a right-wing terrorist, but history tells us that we have seen people attack abortion centers and other similar things, and many of them are on the right, so I am not leaving anything out.

(27,049 posts)who was stupid enough to think reproductive services meant abortion clinic. However, it appears that fertility clinics like this are also on the far-right target list, because theyre supposedly helping LGBTQ+ couples have families.

Sounds like they think the bomber died in the car.
