Hoist by his own petard James Comey, ex FBI director and election interferer, and now 8647 poster.

After posting the now 8647 numbers he is reporting to the Secret Service for an interview for allegedly threatening the Orange anus’ life. Apparently the right wing looney bin insists that 8647 can only mean Comey wants to kill the Orange Anus. Must be a secret code they use and we are now just finding out about it. Does that mean that every instance of 8647 is a death threat? Wonder how many times MAGA’s have used it.

But I digress

Ya think he might be a bit taken aback now. His wrecking Hilary Clinton’s presidential campaign by inferring that she was under investigation by the FBI. Immediately prior to Election Day? This possibly resulted in the , also under investigation by the FBI but not exposed, Orange Anus victory? Just to be clear…Hilary very well may have won and the Orange Anus would have been 86’d right then and there.

One petard hoisting coming right up.

This should the dictionary definition of hoist by your own petard. Talk about deserved consequences for actual criminal action. He should have been sanctioned for exposing an investigation before the election.

He will never be charged for threatening the president…but he is now having to answer for something no one else has to answer for. Anyone could post something like that and be perfectly fine. The history of the numeral term clearly has nothing to do with killing anyone. But the ever besieged and petulant maga wackos need the salve of improper judicial weaponization to calm their frenzied nerves.

Hope Comey enjoys his time in the halls of what now passes for justice…polishing his petard.

In the, apparently, never ending saga of stupid Orange Anus stuff this really resonates. Everything the Orange Anus touches turns to shit. Comey…you have officially been “Turded” by the OG Orange Anus.

It’s possible that Republicans are sincerely outraged by the former FBI director's seashell code, but recent history suggests some skepticism is in order.

When it comes to the manufactured apoplexy surrounding James Comey, it's worth remembering that Trump has spent years demanding investigations into the former FBI director.

His "8647" seashells on Instagram simply gave Team Trump an excuse to do it wanted to do anyway.

Nearly five years later, a similar story has emerged, and as NBC News reported, it’s generating an even more robust response.

The Department of Homeland Security and Secret Service are investigating a social media post by former FBI Director James Comey that several U.S. officials interpreted as calling for the assassination of President Donald Trump, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Thursday.

Evidently, Comey shared a photo on Instagram showing seashells arranged to form the numbers “8647.” Republican officials soon after responded with apoplexy, at which point the former FBI director — himself a lifelong Republican — deleted the post and said, “I didn’t realize some folks associate it with violence. That didn’t occur to me when I saw it but I am opposed to violence in all circumstances so I took it down.”

Comey added soon after that he simply assumed that the numbers “were a political message.”....

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard appeared on Fox News and said she wants to see Comey “put behind bars for this.” A variety of GOP lawmakers, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, scrambled to toe the party line and condemn the former FBI director.

Trump himself ultimately joined the parade, in predictably Trumpian fashion.

......When the president first arrived in the White House eight years ago, he saw Comey as an ally — Trump appeared to literally blow a kiss at the then-FBI director at a White House event in January 2017 — thanks in part to Comey’s role in undermining Hillary Clinton’s 2016 candidacy. In time, however, Trump soured on Comey, and ultimately fired him in the hopes of derailing the FBI’s investigation into the president’s Russia scandal.

In the years that followed, Trump continued to target the former FBI director, accusing Comey of “treason,” and even calling for his prosecution over unidentified crimes.

As recently as a few months ago, just days after Trump loyalist Kash Patel was sworn in as the FBI’s newest director, the conservative Washington Times reported that the bureau had opened an investigation into Comey’s role in the FBI’s investigation into Trump’s 2016 campaign.

In other words, Team Trump has long seen Comey as a villain who should be targeted and investigated. His since-deleted Instagram post appears to have given the president’s operation an excuse to do what it wanted to do anyway.

Comey is an idiot. Comey's press conference on the Clinton email investigation was unethical and got trump elected. Comey's stupidity may be a valid defense if charges are brought.

He knows Orange Anus is on his revenge reign, but he manages to put something out there that draws the wrong kind of attention to himself, knowing how much O.A. hates him. If Comey did it for publicity, then he's not much better than O.A.

If you want to call it karma, fine; but as far as law and justice are concerned it's not OK; it's retributive fascism. It's weaponizing a harmless, common expression to persecute a political adversary for no good reason. Maybe he helped Trump get where he got in 2016, but there's still no reasonable or rational excuse for *this* - and they can and will do it to anybody. Maybe someone we like. Maybe even one of us. Have you ever used the expression "86" in a political context? I have, and with respect to 47. I am not a high-profile person like Comey, not someone to be bothered with - maybe. But if you think this kind of harassment is OK because it's Comey, you'd better think again. It's not. Not for him, not for anybody.

Ordering an FBI investigation of a political enemy for simply posting an extremely cryptic image - one that could only be interpreted by the most paranoid imbecile as some sort of physical threat to the president - is clearly a corrupt abuse of power. It's probably an impeachable offense.
