Because the Knicks advanced to the Eastern Conference finals against the Pacers by smoking the hated Celtics.

Now my kids get to listen to me talk about the 69 - 70 super team of Willis Reed, Walt Frazier, Dave Debusschere, Dick Barnett and Senator Bill Bradley.
