The trick I found to embedding Youtube links is to delete the ? and everything after it. This goes for X/twitter links for youtube videos too.

I added spaces in the example so it didn't actually link in this educational post.

Especially if you got the link from facebook (which adds a TON of useless stuff. To avoid this, I usually bring up the facebook copied link and click it going to the video, and re-copy the link directly from youtube (all the facebook stuff will be gone)
