Steel pipe for instance. Unions won’t handle anything not Made in America so painting it black qualifies it to be labeled as such.

It’s steal but it has a layer of black paint on it. A vast majority is made overseas (Japan) but it’s painted black in the USA. That means it can be called “Made in America”.
