Am I the only one who can't fucking breathe right now.

Nothing Trump is saying in this tariff announcement seems like it can be verified. It is as if he just makes up his own numbers and facts. It is just another firehose of bullshit.

This all seems like madness.

Wishing you strength. I know how awful that is, almost. None of my pups have lived 15 years, though a border collie/Newfoundland made it to 14. It isn't any easier when you have them a longer time, or a shorter time. It's just always awful. I always get a puppy so I have to go through it all again. Still worth it. Can't live without a dog.

We’ve been through this too many times. The worst was Duncan, whom I rescued from a family whose son was apparently a drug dealer and figured he’d breed dogs on the side. He was shot in a drug deal and his folks had to take in his kids but didn’t want the dogs.

Poor little guy must’ve been nearby when it happened because fireworks and gunfire sent him into panic mode for hours. He’d been shut out in a lanai for three months and was a pathetic little guy (and out in the Florida dampness, he had at least three kinds of worms to get rid of…)

Once we got him, he was the sweetest, most loving dog ever. He even smiled in his sleep. We had him for over 16 years, when his vision started going bad (my Maine coon began walking him around the house to guide him to his food dish), he didn’t hear well, and one day, he started losing control of his hind legs. He spent six months pretty much in hospice-type care, wearing diapers and finally just hanging out in a nest near one of us until he finally gave up.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, we later adopted a beautiful orange tabby who six months later started losing control of *his* hind legs. ER vet diagnosed him with FIP (feline infectious peritonitis)—incurable. We did the same diaper and hand-holding routine for Hamish for his last three months.

I wouldn’t give up those experiences, though, no matter how painful, because they brought so much love into our lives.

I also have four parrots—two Orange wing Amazons and two African greys—and they’ll present the opposite problem because parrots live perhaps 80-100 years and we’ll have to think of someone worthy of taking them when the time comes.

dem, it’s a shitty deal to suffer such a loss, but give it time and let another one into your life. It’s a good way to channel the love for the one you lost into making a better life for another one who needs you.

Meanwhile, maybe Duncan will be on the welcoming committee over the rainbow bridge.

Pretty sure he could be eyeing Aden as a place to develop a classy beach-side palatial resort and casino, a long with a Naval Base; they've got some nice port area and a prime location along the Indian Ocean if you don't mind dealing with pirates occasionally.

Tariffs, a reminder
Last edited Tue Mar 4, 2025, 02:21 PM - Edit history (1)

Trump loves tariffs because they are direct money makers for the US Treasury. He's on video saying exactly that and smiling. Repeatedly.

Think, when have you seen him smile?

What does it mean when a psychopath smiles?

His ultimate plan is to rob the Treasury.

DOGE is a distraction from the real planned heist.

It's possible Musk offered to find money for the robbery but in actuality, as a psychopath himself, is trying to trick President Psychopath Trump while plundering with the primary goal of helping himself, not Trump. Essentially, trying to bullsh¡t the bullsh¡tter.

The end goal for Trump has always been to pack the US Treasury's balance and steal The People's Money.

It's not simply about the tariffs.

They are just a means to an end.

Tariffs, another reminder
Trump loves tariffs because they are direct money makers for the US Treasury.

He's on video saying exactly that and smiling. Repeatedly.

Think, when have you seen him smile?

What does it mean when a psychopath smiles?

His ultimate plan is to rob the the USA blind.

The padding of the US Treasury with money made from The People's money due to tariffs, the US as a crypto friendly country, the possibility of upgrading the gold standard are all parts of the singular plan to rob America.

We the People are already being robbed by the destruction of the government and the programs that we have paid for with our taxes.

The oligarchs are not going to be satisfied with only that.

They are not going to be satisfied with just their tax cuts.

The greedy are never satisfied, and psychopaths just don't care. They can't be made to care because they're psychopaths.

DOGE is a distraction from the planned heist via the tariffs plan.

It's possible Musk offered to find money for the robbery but, in actuality, as a psychopath himself, is probably trying to trick President Psychopath while plundering with the primary goal of helping himself, not Trump. Essentially, trying to bullsh¡t the bullsh¡tter.

It's not simply about the tariffs.

They are just one means to an end.

Don't expect to hear about this from too many other sources. I learned about it by reading copious articles about tariffs and the economy. It is mentioned but not often. Of course, the so-called mainstream media, for the most part, is failing to point this out. They answer to the rich.

Zoom out. It's the big picture, and it's even uglier from a distance.

After imposing tariffs on China -- and then approving BILLIONS in subsidies to farmers hurt by the loss of Chinese buyers -- Turnip 'carved out' an exemption for religious materials printed in China. And, Lo, thus was begat the "Trump Bible", printed in China for less than $4 and sold for $60 to $99 in the US.

This is from Twitter (currently known as X). I posted the text instead of the links.
This is coming from Daniel Dale of CNN. Here is a link to his CNN profile.
https://www.cnn.com/profiles/daniel-dale
Daniel Dale is a senior reporter in CNN's Washington Bureau, where he fact-checks political claims.

The attached image below is from the USMCA (US, Mexico & Canada Agreement) that Pendejo45 negotiated.

The president lied that there's a low tariff on merely "the first little carton of milk" exported to Canada, but after that, it's a massive Canadian tariff. In fact, *as negotiated by Trump's first administration in the USMCA,* *tens of thousands of metric tons per year* of US milk exports to Canada are *tariff-free* - and *the US isn't even exporting half the tariff-free maximum,* so the tariffs aren't close to being applied.

There is a complicated debate about why the US isn't coming close to its tariff-free quota maximum; the US industry alleges administrative shenanigans by Canada, Canada says that's nonsense. Regardless, the claim that only a tiny quantity of US milk is tariff-free is very false.

This is Trump's first administration correctly touting how the USMCA got Canada to agree to tens of thousands of tariff-free tons of US milk imports per year: https://ustr.gov/trade-agreements/free-trade-agreements/united-states-mexico-canada-agreement/fact-sheets/market-access-and-dairy-outcomes
