Is your pet food imported from Canada ? Some lesser-known brands are.

I noticed the other day that Mitten's cat food -- a private label owned by Michigan-based Pet Supplies Plus -- is canned in Canada.

Apparently pet food is big business in Canada, with huge volumes of both imports and exports to/from USA.

Tariffs are going to be extra bad news for these folks.

Canola oil. Many products in ALDI are from Canada. Many baked goods from Canada - cookies, crackers - because Peak Freen and competitors are located there. Many canned goods. Fresh produce - potatoes, rutabagas. And much more.

I used to feed my orange Tomcat that. Made in Canada.
He had bad kidney problems. Even Hill's Prescription Diet didn't clear it up completely.
He recovered fully on Triumph Low Ash. Back then(about 30 years ago) it was the only otheroption I could find outside of Hill's.Low Ash Cat food is common now.
