My hope now lies in the uneducated

When the election was over in November, and I realized that Trump had the house and the senate and a supreme court that had already ruled that he _couldn't_ break any laws, and that Trump and his handlers Musk and Vance were already in the pocket of Putin and Russian oligarchs, I had enormous fears and anxiety about what was going to happen. What I feared was that they would do to America what America did to Russia - The Shock Doctrine. Austerity economics. Killing dissenters. Dismantling the government. Destroying the economy. Using surveillance and assassination to control opponents. Death camps. The police state.

And so, I made a list of all the things I feared, from bad to worst, and have been ticking them off as they occur. I'm not going to pre-obey this regime (as so many of our media companies, elected officials, and other corporations have done), but I'm also not surprised by the horrible things they are trying to do.

Enter the uneducated voters - who are surprised by all of this. Not only Republicans who hilariously thought that Trump would help them, but Independents and Democrats who are shocked that no one is stopping the rape of our country. I've been so pleasantly surprised by the real outrage and anger that citizens are expressing to their congresscritters, especially GOP reps who try the same old stale lies about "fraud".

Go get 'em, low-information voters.

have the beard and hair and did try to convince a magat the other day, while he raved about the scum ruining the country. After he started talking about Fort Knox, I reminded him that Nixon took us off the gold standard. "Yeah!", he said, and continued with his BS. Too stupid.
