I was wrong about Jimmy Carter. I figured he was just another Christian phony running for President.

There are so few genuine Christians.

The public face of Christianity in America today is Trump's Christians/evangelicals.

As my late ex said, "Even if he is one of those Southern Baptists". I had to remind him that my dad was brought up Baptist and it didn't hurt him any. Anyway, Jimmy broke with the SBC and his church affiliated with the Cooperative Baptists, a much less rigid and silly outfit.

You Will Know Them by Their Fruits

Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

His entire life has shown he is one of the actual true "Christians" in this world, and so was Rosalyn. They are second and third to my Granny, the best Christian I ever knew.

By their actions, ye shall know them. That goes either way. Claims of faith are nothing. Acts of faith are all that is needed to be known.
