We gotta figure this out NOW.

Without a legal strategy for the indefinite future, every time a Democrat wins the General Election (both popular vote AND/OR Electoral College), it will be challenged. And when challenged, it may well go to SCOTUS, and I believe we all know how that will turn out. If SCOTUS activates the 12th Amendment and it goes to the House, and the House is Republican dominant, the votes of all Democrats for that election are invalidated.

I can't foresee how there will be future elections of Democrats for President without some interference.

6. Would that even work? Participation would likely be very low outside of the cities

Not to mention most businesses - especially large corporations - would do everything in their power to suppress it.

With the stark urban / rural divide, marches, protests, and other forms of social outcry are extremely limited in their effectiveness as they are held in locations (cities) that already are on our side. It's preaching to the choir.

Dispute the law to get what you want. Real estate developers fight government regulation. That's what he's learned.

Could they pass a law that in disputed elections the popular vote wins? Or is that unConstitutional?

IOW, challenged elections defer to the will of the people. Would kneecap the chicanery.

They could dick with ECV but not with the mechanism for ECV.

Political legitimacy is not some elites' mental connection with morals or God. It derives from the popular sentiment of the voters. Those who care about the common good.

That's what is being lost in all this hulaballoo.

It is on from 4 PM to 6 PM. Nicolle has Mark Elias on her show every Wednesday, you just missed him, go to the msnbc archives and watch yesterday's show.

Everyone had angst over Lara Trump being co-chair of the RNC but the other chair Whatney has filed 100 lawsuits just this year that Elias has been shooting down.

One of the best moves that Kamala made was hiring the Elias law firm. Yesterday Elias reassured everyone that your vote will count, if you are being intimidated or stopped from voting he has an army of attorneys that are available.

Do not despair, do not think that Democrats are not prepared for what Magats are going to do, they are going to lose every damn lawsuit they file.

$ 1 Mil. To come work for the Repugs??

I don’t know if it’s true or not.
But, Mark Elias has way too much integrity to even consider it !!

Each state could get a vote, for example. Of course we would still be fuct but we have to work 24/7 to get out the vote. Trump will lose, by how much is important.

Harris and Biden are not going to tell Trump in advance how they'll fight any of his tricks. First let's win the election. Only then can we worry about this, so get your mind off it and just GOTV. If we get our vote out it will put our side in the driver's seat.

their way to help him this election. Sure, they could change this time, especially if the election is even closer than 2020 in terms of Electoral College. Hopefully, it won't be that close.
