If he gets elected he will be pardoned by Vance if he resigns. Thiel and others are only tolerating him so they can use his base. I also think he is good with that. He doesn't want to have to work at 80 years old nor is he capable of that. If he can still golf he will and continue to create headlines to feed his ego. He will take the deal knowing that Thiel and Musk will make what life he has left miserable.
I was just saying to someone that the ignorant Maga's are actually voting a Vance/Thiel ticket and they don't have a clue.
That is my take and the only one that makes sense to me. Don't think for a moment that Thiel and the other billionaires actually like trump. What they like is the potential ticket to power and control. That is what they are buying and once trump is gone Vance is their puppet. Vance has no ideological core and that makes him perfect for them as he stands for nothing.
