Saw my first Harris-Walz 2024 sign in a yard yesterday.

It was in the afternoon while I was walking to eat some hamberders (ahem, spelled intentionally that way).

I simply smiled and kept walking.

That sign is still there today. Seems the 'owner' of the house added some more signs, all local Democrats and endorsed by the local Democratic Party. I voted for all of them earlier in my mail-in ballot..

I'm beginning to think there is another Democrat on my street.

Meanwhile, across the street from this house lives a former Marine (his house flies a US Flag and a US Marines flag). Dude is older and white. In his late 60s maybe early 70s. That's clearly in the MAGAt wheelhouse/base right there. He does typical volunteer citizens' patrol and neighborhood watch and such in his spare time now that he's retired. I talked with him one day last month and expected him to be full on Republican. He is, but he HATES Dumpy the Clown. Says the guy couldn't pass a background check to get a 'real' job, so he isn't a 'real' person to him. He called Dumpy a "chickenshit coward too fucking scared to go to Vietnam like a real man." I'm beginning to think this guy used to be a Marine in Vietnam. We got to talking about that country among other things.

He's looking forward to having Dumpy in an orange jumpsuit and behind bars for all his convictions. Shocked me, but this is why I think Kamala Harris will win CA by more than 25 points and quite frankly the general next month. If this staunch Republican former Marine feels this way about Dumpy, how many more across the country feel the same way?

There are Harris-Walz yard signs and bumper stickers all over the place where I live. I've been seeing them for weeks and couldn't tell you when I saw the first one. What I'm seeing almost none of are signs for the orange con man. I live in a college town that's a blue oasis in the middle of a red desert. Maybe I should go for a drive around rural communities nearby and see how many Harris/Walz yard signs there are. I've got a Kamala and the Coach bumper sticker too, and a Harris/Walz yard sign, one of many in my neighborhood as I said.

Been that way since I was a kid, but it seems to have gotten more blue the past several years.

Or at least some of the red hates orange, the 'fake red'. Thanks Dumpy!
