I don't remember what grade it was.
But in my class was a kid who came from a rich family.
He had been expelled from a private school, he tried to kill another student.
Anyway, he was spoiled. ROTTEN.
I had one encounter with his parents, they said flat out to me that "Little (Tommy?) was an angel, and blamed me for him falling off a jungle gym.
All the witnesses to the accident said Tommy was showing off and he fell on his own.
We had all had encounters with Tommy, EVERY time he'd be in a game and strike out, or lose, it was never his fault.
And a couple of my class got disciplined thanks to Tommy being a liar.
FINALLY, a teacher saw him hitting a little girl, and Tommy was expelled.
His parents of course, blamed the teacher and us.
Screaming that they would sue the school.
They never did.
Flash forward 20 years.
Tommy is now serving a life sentence for murder, and of course it was the "victim's own fault."
Who does "Tommy" remind you of?
Yup, the spoiled corrupt bastard Donald J. Trump.
(My older sister reminded me of "Tommy," when we were discussing what a asshole Trump is.)

(22,861 posts)Parents in they blame the other kid when I witnessed that little Tommys aggressive behavior. All day other kids come up to me to complain about Tommy hitting them, pulling their hair or destroying their work. Every year I encounter one of those kids!

(578 posts)wonder about parents who coddle their children. Kids need limits and when parents dont set them they will end up like adult Tommy in prison.
