NEVER forget that it was Bret Baier, as a journalist (and not some talk show host), who said, days before the 2016 election that Hillary Clinton was about to be indicted.
Back in the 2000s, Dan Rather lost his job at CBS for reporting false information as it related to Bush's military service.
Baier? He apologized and everyone moved on - despite the fact his bad-faith reporting (likely tipped by Rudy Giuliani) very well could have been what threw the race to Trump with how close it was.
I applaud Harris for going into the lion's den but Baier should not be treated as a credible journalist.

(95,424 posts)and I was very disappointed in Rachel giving barer a free pass saying everyone makes mistakes. Not those kind of mistakes.
If you are reporting a story like that you investigate your sources, and how about going directly to the Clinton Foundation and ask them?
It was an intentional lie in my opinion.

Being not as bad as Watters, or not as bad as Hannity is a pretty low bar to clear.
Still doesn't make him anything more than a journalistic midget

As far as I am concerned, it's all partisan hackery and propaganda.
