There's not a lot of discussion about it, but out in public, when Republicans step up and announce their support for Harris, it's right there. Starting with Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, it's there. I see it in social media posts from Republicans I know who are flipping.

I'd bet there's not one pollster who's even asked the question at this point. And yet, it's there, whenever it seems to come up in the conversation.

I had a discussion today with a conservative at work, who made the statement to other employees while we were eating that he's voting for Harris. He thought about third party, was disgusted by RFK, couldn't bring himself to vote for Stein and decided he'd go for Harris and he could live with that.

Why?

"January 6th was the straw that broke the camel's back. The attack on the Capitol sickened me."

The media obviously knows the power of those scenes, they're not replaying them much, are they?

wants to pardon those convicted for the crimes they committed that day seems to be the line in the sand for many.

3. THe documentary Stopping the Steal was released in Sept. and was supposed to be aired before the election but the

network that was scheduled to air it got wet feet, I read here on DU, because they were afraid of Trump's reaction. I wonder if a bunch of us wrote to them and told them they have a responsibility to show it before the election....

It should be the difference. On the other hand the decision to maintain democracy in the US should not be anywhere near this close.

5. In the long run, I don't think it will be. But if it had been handled correctly, he wouldn't even be running.

Justice would have taken care of the problem. Dragging feet and fear prevented that from happening.

6. This election is a coin flip

We will likely lose the sunsbelt states and could very well lose at least one of the rust belt if current trends continue. Sucks but I think a very large percentage of our society want to live in a putin style country.
