A new despicable low by a Trump super-PAC

A public service announcement: Should you receive a mysterious mailer that your Medicare coverage may soon be canceled by Kamala Harris, ignore it and get yourself a snack.

How else is anyone supposed to respond to the despicable work of the pro-Trump super-PAC Make America Great Again Inc., which has been spreading false and misleading information about Medicare and the vice president? It's unclear if any recipients truly believed their coverage was now in jeopardy. But David Corn explains why either way, this is an especially contemptible tactic:

Political campaigns can be sleazy affairs. But there is something particularly odious about billionaires attempting to frighten Medicare recipients with phony messaging in order to persuade them to vote for a guy who has proposed Medicare cuts and who will shower the wealthy with large tax breaks. But to them, this must seem a solid investment.

It should go without saying that preying on older voters with such bogus mailers is gross. But these days, the bar is in hell, huh
