Voted and
Ballot arrived in the mail. I filled it out (Harris and blue all the way, of course), put it in its envelope, and headed out to take it to the drop box. After just a few steps I stopped, turned around, came back inside and went to my desk. With a bit of a grin, I affixed postage to the envelope. Two stamps, mind you. Walked to the mailbox, done deal. Yes, it will take a day longer to reach its destination. But I not only got a chance to support the postal service, the stamps have a picture of elephants. Two birds, one stone, along with a wee taste of irony.
