JUST IN: Judge Chutkan has issued a 50-page ruling that largely rejects Trump's demands for more discovery from the federal government.

She notes that Trump could bear responsibility for the Jan. 6 attack even if he didn't explicitly instruct people to attack the Capitol:



Chutkan says Trump's demand for more evidence about foreign interference in 2020, as well as his demand for the classified 2016 Russian interference report from ODNI don't seem to have any connection to his actual state of mind during the alleged crimes.

One area where Chutkan threw Trump a bone: his request for information about the investigation of Mike Pence's handling of classified info. Trump has said this could have been a motivation for Pence to testify to Jack Smith, and Chutkan says impeachment evidence is a valid ask.

In that movie, the college had been controlled for a very long time by the jock fraternity. There was a sort of Olympics that decided who’d lead the student council for the next year, and the nerd fraternity won it.

After the nerd fraternity won the games, the football coach brought the jocks back to their house and went off on them for letting the nerds win. At the end of it the coach told the jocks “I’d do something about that.” The jocks proceeded to destroy the nerd house.

Please note: the coach never explicitly told the jocks to destroy the nerd house. He just implied they should do something like that. They knew what he meant.

In the same way, Trump never explicitly told his minions to trash the Capitol or try to kill the Vice president. But they knew what he meant.

I'm going to uncover my old popcorn popper and park myself in front of any coverage and bask in it. I live for this. I want him to suffer for what he has put us through. I want to see him humiliated and defeated. I want to see the whole nation discover what he's really been up to. Jack Smith will tell us what the stolen documents are about, as promised.

Trumper politicians will try to hide or claim new outrage, to no avail. They will be history like the Nixon die-hards. It will be a whole new world order. Ukraine triumphant. Kamala at the helm of the free world. Tim Walz translating for the White male midwestern types who are struggling.

The insurrection we fear will have fizzled and democracy recovered. Something will be done about the Supreme Court. DC andPuerto Rico will be states and the Senate will no longer be a right wing advantage. We'll all realize the bullet we have dodged and reform will begin, like after WWII in Germany but without the war.

The joy and brilliance of Harris/Walz will bear fruit.
