but they're not talking to their maga husbands about it. They'll just quietly vote for Harris. Their main concern is their daughter's access to healthcare.

they were getting so many inquiries from women asking, "can my husband see who I vote for".

Yeah, it's real.

I'm doing 400 postcards, and the message:

Thank you for being a voter. Who you vote for is private, but whether you vote is public record. Please vote in the 2024 election.

Just wait.

but this pisses me off. It's 2024 and women are still afraid of their asshole MAGA husbands? To protect their daughters' rights. Coming from a middle aged guy, I'm ashamed. This fake macho shit has to END!

which perpetuates the "both sides are the same" myth & low info voters vote repub or independent next time. That's what it means to me.

OMG, yesterday I read an article about how much Kristen Sinema is spending on travel through her campaign even though she's not running again. France, during the Olympics, of course, Japan, & I can't remember where else. This kind of shit needs to stop.

Oops. Got a little off topic there.

…to what a vile Reich-winger she is. She may not like Trump, or the GOP - now - but she’ll flip back when the coast is clear.

Comstock, Charlie Sykes, and many other never-Trumpers KNEW, and PUSHED, GOP bullshit and sedition for decades. They knew what was coming and welcomed it when it came. And then…!

Not sure what that was but I'm guessing big on defense and big business. Also worked for GW Bush. Very Liz Cheney.

If Trump gets back into power, there will be some version of the Night of the Long Knives to further consolidate his power, and Cheney and Comstock are likely to be facing the pointy end of it.

We're making it a family affair... grandson is taking a 59 minute rule to extend his lunch hour to two hours if necessary. I won't be doing it quietly, tho, I'll bet. I'm gonna dress head to toe in Blue!

I'm waiting for my Cat Ladies for Harris Sign, and another one for Harris (a flag)... ordered them from Amazon who said they'd be delivered today. NOW I'm notified it'll be the 23rd of Oct. NOT happy... especially not with that huge Trump Flag flying right across the street!

I really wanted to go over and talk to the guy. Most neighbors on our block don't know each other, and so we did get to know the one right across the street. He's helped out my husband on various tool and auto things, and carrying something that's too much for either of us to do. He's an Army Vet, whereas I'm an Air Force Vet... but we both did serve our countries. He flies a damned Trump flag even if there's no election and he's NOT the president. He just updated to this years a few weeks ago.

I'm passionate in my beliefs and my desires to save this country's democracy and rights for women and other minorities. I believe immigrants make this country great, and one proof is that, except for one small segment of natives to this country we nearly wiped out, we're ALL immigrants! Now they want to pull up the rug? How hypocritical! I can't keep my temper down, so the other night hubby needed a better tool to get off the oil cap from grandson's car (he's teaching him how to change oil), and HE went to talk with him. He came back as confused as I would have. Inflation and immigrants. Never mind what Biden has done about either... nothing Biden or any democrat could do would be good enough. The family has just always voted republican and he'll be damned if he's going to be the first one to vote democrat.

Do you have any idea how much LESS respect I have for this guy and his wife? Not to mention his grown kids, who I don't know at all?! So, I stay in my own little yard and let hubby plan peacekeeper, and I'll just go around the corner to my best friend's house and we can yell all we want at the repugs!

I have not looked for other statements by her. I am simply going on the face of the reported statement.
