I don't know what they call those big rallies for Jesus, but people standing with their hands in the air swaying to music is a common thing at those. I used to call those events fascist rallies disguised as religious services. Trump's stunt was like a religious experience disguised as a political event. Regardless, this merger of Christian Nationalism and MAGA authoritarianism is extremely dangerous.
