Jack Smith says: Trump totally ignores evidence against him that alleges how he sought to create & use false evidence

NEW: Special counsel Jack Smith files his response to Trump's demand that at least two of his charges be dropped in the Jan. 6 case in light of the SCOTUS ruling in Fischer (obstruction statute impacting J6 rioters). It won't surprise you to learn, Smith isn't convinced.

Smith says Trump totally ignores the evidence against him that alleges how he sought to create and use false evidence - the fake elector certificates - as a means to obstruct the proceeding on Jan. 6. Fischer covers that specifically, Smith writes.

Trump wins and I guarantee the new AG opens an investigation into Smith for a fictional accusation.

Or if Trump really goes off the loony truck... maybe something worse.

Trump probably loves the stories about what Hitler did with the July 20 plotters.

Justice matters.

Retired Gen. John Kelly, who served as White House chief of staff in the Trump administration, recounted several conversations where former President Trump spoke favorably about Adolf Hitler, saying the Nazi leader had done “some good things” and had inspired loyalty within his military.

Kelly also said Trump admired Nazi officers’ loyalty to Hitler, lamenting that Trump himself was not able to maintain the same level of loyalty.

“He would ask about the loyalty issues and about how, when I pointed out to him the German generals as a group were not loyal to him, and in fact tried to assassinate him a few times, and he didn’t know that.”.

“He truly believed, when he brought us generals in, that we would be loyal — that we would do anything he wanted us to do,” Kelly added.

“Trump is “not a tough guy by any means, but in fact quite the opposite,” adding, “but that’s how he envisions himself.”

Jack Smith’s response. “No.”

Jack Smith’s longer response. Trump totally ignores the evidence against him that alleges how he sought to create and use false evidence - the fake elector certificates - as a means to obstruct the proceeding on Jan. 6. Fischer covers that specifically. I.O.W. Hey Donny I have the goods on you.
