If you examine 538's current ratings, a few tenths of a point is a significant difference between polls

Are you getting your A rating from somewhere else, or is it just an out of date 538 rating?

Also, its important to note how many polls the rating is based on.
For some of the red wave polls, they only have a handful of polls as a record to derive a rating from.
YouGov, of course, has a more extensive record.
I just think its important to use up to date terminology, not ratings from two years ago.

(100,003 posts)6. There are 280 polls in the 538 database.
It's rated 4th. 4 divided by 280 =1.4. If you are better than 98.6 of your peers you get an A.
