Are the voting machines in swing states heavily protected, being watched?

There should be security cameras on them 24/7 imo. There seems to be no talk at all about the machines right now??

1. I agree with your concern....

...and it isn't only the machines that need protection, but all the records, voter logs, anything connected in any way with the election in every office or space they might be.

The rightwing has given us reason to expect they will be illegally messing with these things AND some of them have been convicted of doing it in the past.

4. Because it's a known issue that is being taken seriously by serious people

who are not suggesting violating the privacy of voters. You can’t put cameras in voting booths.

Wisconsin will likely see an influx of election observers at the polls this fall as the eyes of the nation will be on the battleground state in November.

The Republican National Committee announced plans earlier this year to recruit 100,000 poll watchers and election observers across the nation, including 5,000 in Wisconsin. The Democratic Party of Wisconsin will have a “record number” of election observers throughout the state, according to a statement. Meanwhile, groups like the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin will also have poll watchers present at the polls.
