considering it could have been a Hannity or an Ingraham. Yes, he was reluctant to have the news desk call AZ in 2020, but all he did was delay the inevitable while waiting for evidence of the alleged fraud (which never came).

This is a good move because it introduces her to an audience that might never have heard from her directly, only spun unflatteringly. She will come across as sane and reasonable, which will put the lie to the mischaracterizations of her. I think she will get tough questions, but the prosecutor is more than capable of handling them.

And promising them positions in her cabinet is just a bridge to far for me.
No one is going to memory hole me on what Republicans have said and done over the last several decades.

I frankly don't give a flying fuck what Adam Kinzinger's opinion is on anything.
Despite what some people think TSF is no genius or great political strategist. Trump probably hasn't had an original thought in decades. He is just following the lead of Republicans themselves.

I clearly see what their opinions are every day. There is no common themes between a Democratic platform and a Republican platform.
If I wanted Republicans running things I'd vote for a Republican.

I want Democrats running things though therefore I want Democrats making those decisions.

Why is that controversial on a message board for Democrats?!?

in her cabinet, or not. If so, they will be her employee and acting under her orders.

President Clinton had a Republican in his cabinet (the Secretary of Defense),
and seemed to do alright with it--- he won re-election by a landslide.

Most people outside of our partisan bubble are sick and tired of all the "us versus them" in our politics,
and appreciate any attempt at bipartisanship because they are tired of all the political hate
which leads to nothing getting done. That doesn't mean that we have to accept Republican positions,
when a Democrat is in charge. Mostly they want us to be willing to talk to each other...

'Compromise' should not be a dirty word--- it was necessary for the very creation of our government.

38. No compromise
Mon Oct 14, 2024, 09:49 PM
Monday

How many times do we have to debunk the mythical notion of a "moderate" Republican?!?
Liz Cheney is NOT a moderate
Adam Kinzinger is NOT a moderate.
Republicans want to force 10 yr olds to have their rapist's baby.
That wants a women to bleed out in a hospital parking lot and because be a hair from death before giving her an abortion
Want a wannabe dictator as president
That want to mass deport "illegal immigrants" when it's clear they mean Black and Hispanic people.
That think Democrats control the weather
A political party that, very literally, wants to jail and/or kill LGBTQ+ people

Sorry to be blunt the more I hear Democrats openly advocating for Republicans in Democratic administrations to more it breaks my heart because we will never win elections by telling people we will be like Republicans when what they want is Democrats.
Republicans are playing us for suckers.

Mon Oct 14, 2024, 01:57 PM
Monday

One is that she thinks she needs to do this to win, based on her internal polling.

Another is that she trusts Brent Baier to be fair and wants to reach non magat Republicans and dispel lies. Going on Fox is the direct way to do that.

Regardless, Fox will dig hard for a gotcha question(s) and will try to get her to talk bad about Biden, by exploiting differences in his policies and her campaign, putting her in compromising situations. She will need to deflect from many of these questions to get her message across to viewers.

It’s a risk/reward move. Some voters don’t watch any news but Fox News.

A long gotcha reel to generate attack ads for TSF.
They will clip out of context or half statements or even run two different clips together that have nothing to do with each other. Whatever it takes to screw her over. Fox only agreed to this to help TSF and no other reason.

by appearing on FAUX NEWS....

Normally I am against Democrats appearing on their network--
but in this case she proves her courage to everyone else,
by walking into their lion's den...

I think everyone who isn't a MAGAT understands what Faux is.
I presume she is going to call Trump a coward by refusing a second debate with her,
although not necessarily in those words--- although she SHOULD---

CALL TRUMP A COWARD right on Faux News--- that would make some headlines!
