While I continue to donate repeatedly, I feel frustration not knowing where my donation is MOST critically important to winning a race.
I couldn't find a page on the Mother Jones website, but this excerpt from today's email gives you the gist:

A new Congress will be sworn in on Jan 3, 2025. That same Congress will pick the next Speaker of House and oversee certification of the Presidential election.
Just days ago, current Republican Speaker of House Mike Johnson couldn't say if Biden won the last election. Back in 2020, Johnson led efforts in the US House to vote against certification, showing what he is willing to do if Trump loses at the ballot. In 2024, saving democracy could hinge on who controls the US House and who picks the next Speaker.
If you want to ensure that the election results are upheld, Democrats must win the majority and pick the next House Speaker. Close US House races are happening all across the country and only Flip the States analyzes unbiased data to surface the races where YOU can make the most impact.
Here are 3 simple steps to Save Democracy:
[1] Check the Flip the States Data: Go to FliptheStates.com to see rankings of all US House races by Impact Score. Impact Scores on this free tool tell you where Democrats can actually win and where your donations go farthest.

[2] Donate to races where Democracy supporting candidates can win: Flip the States identifies where your dollars go farthest. In fact, many of the close races are in traditional blue states, where Democrats who will certify the election are in a prime position to win. The Top 6 Races to Flip the House includes races like flipping NY-22, CA-13, and holding NY 18.
[3] Don't get distracted, Stay Focused on Winnable House Races: MAGA candidates like Lauren Boebert distract with their antics, but Republicans know [that] controlling the majority is how they protect Trump. That's why Speaker Johnson just traveled to CO to campaign not for Boebert, but for Republican Gabe Evans to unseat Democratic Congresswomen Dr Yadiera Caraveo. Flip the States rates Caraveo's CO-8 race with a 98 Impact Score, likely to be one of the closest in the country. Winning races like CO-8 is required if Democrats want to oust Speaker Johnson and ensure [that] the Presidential Election isn't thrown into a constitutional crisis. Don't get distracted by the likes of Boebert or MTG in safe districts. Instead, use this free tool to ensure you're protecting democracy in the races that matter most.
Flip the States is a new, free tool that gives you the data and freedom over political donations and removes the emotion and guesswork, ensuring donors can put their money to work in the races most likely to give democracy protectors control of legislative bodies and impact ballot initiatives. It's free, no account needed, and all the data is presented and controlled by you.
