Donald Trump says as president he’ll invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, which remains in force and was used in 1941 to incarcerate Japanese Americans, against the “migrants” he and Vance have been demonizing. The Act applies only in wartime but Trump will say we’re at war.
