Wonder Why

It's not disinformation. It's vicious lying!

When people die or refuse aid because of fear, calling it disinformation is just evil, in itself. It's not only lying but it's just cruel to victims especially when they are your own supporters. So minimizing it by calling it disinformation is as bad as being part of the lies.

So instead of lying, we have misinformation and disinformation. Unbelievably sad and cruel.

I, too, am sick of the mealy-mouthed reporting. This whole era has really exposed the poor journalism. We have here in the United States.

Disinformation isn't just lies; it's a specific kind of false information that's deliberately intended to mislead, i.e. propaganda. It's more descriptive than just saying that someone lies. The difference is in intent.

5. But it may not be intended to deliberately hurt others but just to help oneself.

Trump and his ilk are hurting their own followers as well as the innocent but unknowing. Disinformation about one's accomplishment promotes the feeling of success in one's followers but does not necessarily deliberately hurt them. Or, worse, kill them or make them turn down needed benefits.

Trump isn't a liar.....he exaggerates/misstates/misleads/distorts/deceives/falsely claims/fabricates/misinforms/
he's not truthful/he's incorrect/not honest...

TRUMP IS A PATHOLOGICAL PSYCHOTIC LIAR...and the media can shove their "disinformation" up their compromised asses...

Lies that harm others are worse than lies told to protect one's own reputation. Trump does both and MAGA loves him for it because it triggers the libs.

is distinct from either misinformation or disinformation. The term was coined recently to describe information that while true, is used in a context that can confuse people.

is when people unknowingly parrot lies. Disinformation is when people purposely tell vicious lies. Words have actual meanings.
