Road trip to North Idaho

Visiting friend in Priest Lake, very beautiful place.

800 miles rt
5 Trump signs of which 2 were 2016. Do they count?

2 Biden signs.

My buddy warned me that everyone I would meet were trumpsters.

I countered that they were conservatives that lost their way.

Everyone was extremely nice and gracious. No political discussion with anyone other than my misguided friend.

2. Agree that there are fewer signs and much less obnoxious behavior than 2016 and 2020

I think people are exhausted by the constant anger and suspicion.

We have to end these two-year long election cycles. One of the great things about Harris jumping in is that it feels like an old school election, run from summer to fall all in one year. Starting a 2024 election cycle in January of 2023 is just too much and everybody hates it. It is a media creation, and accounts for much of our contemporary division and distrust. Nominate in the summer, elect in the fall. That's it. Stop the endless electoral cycle. Enough already!

We OWN the airwaves but lease them to those who charge campaigns BIG MONEY.

Campaign consultants take their share of the pie and so on down the line.

Citizens United has to go and would probably be easier to accomplish than trying to shorten the campaign season.

As a woman, feel strongly about not spending one penny in that Handmaid’s Tale state. I know Boise isn’t bad, but I don’t want to have to drive through Naziland to get there.

Coeur d'Alene is beautiful, I go there whenever I can find the excuse. Good people from my experience.
