Said Bannon: “This is McCarthy screwing MAGA to jam up Mike Johnson. This is 100% McCarthy and his acolytes trying to make our job even tougher and take away our majority. This is Fox News, everything. This is the apparatus saying, ‘we are going to shut down the ability to make massive cuts and stop the defunding of Ukraine.”

2. just a reminder, Bannon was convicted 17 months ago and still has not served a day in prison.

Took almost a year and a half for his appeal to be heard. It was heard November 9th. Not sure when the decision will be made.

I'm a boomer, and I liked JFK a lot when he was in the White house. This isn’t, though, the first time that an official communication from his campaign has contradicted his story; late last year, a statement attributed to his lawyer referred to Santos as an immigrant. And as Patch reported, according to one former coworker, Santos has said he was born in Brazil ....

VICE News asked Santos’ campaign press team ... “In his statement announcing his re-election campaign, Representative Santos referred to himself as a ‘first-generation American.’ First-generation Americans are those who were born outside the United States and emigrated to the U.S. Is Representative Santos a first-generation American, and if not, why did he refer to himself as one?”

The response was ... “Yes. He is a first generation American.”

In response to a follow-up question asking to whom specifically the claim that Santos was not born in the U.S. could be attributed (this question went unanswered), the press team complicated things ....
