"SNIP..........

Dan Pfeiffer: “I follow politics for a living, and I had to Google Johnson to remember exactly who he was and where he was from.”

“Here’s who he is: Paul Ryan’s economic policies + Mike Pence’s views on abortion + Donald Trump’s dangerously wacky views on the 2020 election = Mike Johnson.”

“In other words, if Democrats could design in a lab the perfect candidate to run against, that person would look a lot like Mike Johnson.”

.........SNIP"

Getting bare-bones budget stuffed passed without enormous poison pills, and not wasting time on phony investigations and impeachment threats, is the best we were going to get out of this session of Congress anyway.

If we get that with this guy, we can count ourselves lucky.

get lumped into some kind of uncomfortable togetherness. I'm sure you didn't mean anything by it, but those of us who live in the South, especially those who, like me, live in Marjorie Taylor Greene's district, are sensitive about seeming somehow akin to those who voted for her and her ilk.

He started by giving Congress a long weekend off, to recover from the stress of the last several weeks!

On second thought, he's probably going to be working this weekend, collaborating with his magat friends on the worst agenda and legislation he can come up with. Although they've already got a lot of that planned.
