KY-GOV: Andy Beshear Holds 16-Point Lead in Kentucky

A new Emerson College poll in Kentucky finds Gov. Andy Beshear (D) leading challenger Daniel Cameron (R) in the race for governor, 49% to 33%.

Five percent plan to vote for someone else, while 13% are undecided.

The last two GOP Governors, Fletcher and Bevin were both one term disappointments. In fact, there are campaign ads on TV linking Cameron to Matt Bevin. Apparently they must be working.

Consider a state south of Kentucky-- also poor and hilly -- Arkansas.... where the Trumper "governor" responds to child poverty by expanding the "opportunities" for child labor.
When even these beaten-up people get even one term of a governor that wants to help citizens, they notice the difference.

...we do have a long history of Democratic governors. Bevins was a bit of an outlier.
