As much as I hate Halliburton, they had business operations and exploration out of Russia prior to the invasion. They, no doubt, had lots invested in their Russia operations and I have not seen any link of Halliburton to Putin's invasion policy. Halliburton probably wants an end to this as much as anyone so they can continue to make obscene profits from their Russian operation. They are probably not the only foreign company that "divested" operations with the hope that once this is over they can return to profit inside Russia. 7.1 million dollars in equipment to ensure the business can be up and running when the time comes seems worth the risk to Halliburton.
