I'm sure you all remember Cordray. He was the 1st director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, an agency that Elizabeth Warren worked to create when Obama was president.
He also ran for Ohio governor in 2018, narrowly losing to DeWine (ugh).
I feel even better about what Biden is doing with Student Loans knowing Cordray is there.
One underrated aspect about Biden's presidency has been who he's filled his administration with.

(18,579 posts)Still wonder how DeWine beat him. We have one of the most corrupt State Houses in the country. It gets worse with each passing year. The only bright spot is voters turned down their asinine attempt to kill any hope of voter participation. Even the rurals voted against that. We gained enough signatures to put abortion on he ballot and LaRose had to sign it!
Maybe the worm is turning?

(88,106 posts)Excellent point you make. Biden knows talent and has filled his presidency with people whove made big parts of his vision and his campaign promises happen. Thats another big reason why hes gotten so much accomplished.
Thats REALLY important aspect of good management.
