NEW reporting from Fulton County GA: Presiding Judge Robert McBurney's Courtroom + the courthouse is still open.
On a normal day, the courthouse closes at 5p, and the presiding judge's presiding duties end at 5p. But it does not appear today is a normal day.

(92,983 posts)Views from the hottest club in Fulton County: Judge Robert McBurneys courtroom. This is the room where the indictment could be handed up later this evening. Were still waiting for the grand jury presentation to wrap up.

(25,338 posts)I could understand continuing past 5pm today in order for a witness to finish their testimony rather than split one witness' testimony up over two days.
But if there are more witnesses to go yet, why continue for several more hours? Wouldn't the judge wait until the next session to bring in more witnesses?

going to be home tomorrow - was really hoping for tonight. Oh well, I will watch reruns and have a toast to justice at that time.

But if you know someone who'd answer yes to "The only way our country can get through the crisis ahead is to get back to our traditional values, put some tough leaders in power, and silence the troublemakers spreading bad ideas" that person's very likely one -- and eager for tRump and company get to the critically necessary "silence the troublemakers" part.
