(21,917 posts)Maybe someone else will take the time but I listened to her rambling incoherence and I can sun it up thusly:
Ron good man
support him if he was running for latrine attendant
someone please stop me and take the mic I dont know how to stop talking when anyone else is in the room
if there was an award for speaking rapidly without actually conveying information I would have to build a trophy room
I hope my batteries dont die while Im up here
etc etc etc

(22,277 posts)Be glad that you don't hear the trite empty things she said. The looks on the audience tell you everything you need to know.

(7,411 posts)To be fair, the clip is deceptively edited to string together a bunch of stuff she said. Some of it is repeated, for comic effect... But it's still gibberish.
But I am passionately supporting him not because Im married to him. But because I believe in who he is. And one of these things is Covid I could go on for hours. If he wanted to do racket ball down the street, Id support him and sit in the stands.
The whole world descended on Florida. You had the media coming after him, the left. Every move you made. I mean at one time, we had a guy dressed like the grim reaper out in front of the house. The kids were looking through the window. And I said, never mind, ignore it. It was because they were mad that he wasnt shutting down the beaches
He was the one who held the line

"And that's the reason I kick him out the door so gracefully because he's in it for the right reasons he's a good man, and I know that ultimately he will stand up for what is right just this what you saw during Covid and I think that's really important...go on for hours about why, you know, I truly believe in him and it's not just because he's my husband, right, like if he wanted to do, like, racquetball club or something down the street and he wanted to do it and I would go down and watch him and it would be fine and I'd sit in the stands but I am passionately supporting him, not because I'm, you know, married to him but because I believe in who he is because etc etc"

(4,741 posts)I think it's safe to say now that they didn't marry each other for their brains.
There isn't even a dead brain cell between them.

(95,945 posts)She'd support Ron if he wanted to play racquetball. She said it more than once.
As an example of how she would support him in all his endeavors, so it's not surprising she supports him now in his run for the presidency or some such shit.
She doesn't really say anything worth hearing. That were some attempts at humor. Failed miserably.
That she'd support him even if he wasn't her husband. Which she said more than once. "Not because he's my husband".
You saw the bored, uncomfortable look on the faces of the audience?
Well, there's a reason or that.
She seems already tired of it all. Course that could be because the venue was not exciting, or large.
