Allrighty then. This guy (former police officer) just said that.
Been out the side of my head keeping an eye out on that serial killer story recently arrested in Gilgo Beach Long Island. But like really? Come on dude you can be a gun nut but this is not normal.

Note: He gave no proof or evidence that those guns were even in the safe, he just speculated ... oh boy. Geesh ... whatever.

Not linking the podcast on youtube ... guys pretty up and up but this shit ...

On Edit: not Florida ... but N.Y.

He had a massive vault in the basement with a huge bank-style vault door.

Any vault can be defeated with enough effort, correct tools, and time, but it sounds secure.

Not long guns, unless they were designated as "assault weapons" in the SAFE Act of 2013.

I get it that this guy is a monster (allegedly), but people collect firearms like anything else.

The description of his gun vault sounds secure.

You are correct that this is not the norm.

Is it "normal" that Jay Leno has a warehouse full of rare cars?

I don't see the relevance of the gun collection. Did the guy shoot his victims?
