News reports suggest that they are still hearing witnesses.

Besides grand jury secrecy, they are also most likely very busy making sure that the case they bring is, in TFG's own words, 'perfect...a perfect case!' and we'll all soon find out how much trouble the criminal defendant is facing.

if he is the only person indicted. Just Trump means that Smith wants the trial held before the election.

Based on past history, the indictment could be this week or next.

I popped in to see how they were doing. They're trying to figure out why the pastrami on wheat toast came on rye instead, and several of them are saying that the juror who ordered the pastrami didn't say wheat toast, but only thinks she did.

That's as much as I got from them.

Another one said he thinks he's getting hives from an allergy from the finish used on the arm of one of the chairs, and he'd like to get a different chair instead of just covering the arms of the chair with napkins.

I'll check in later today, because I told them, "Triron on DU wants an update ASAP" so they are going to give me a full report for you in a while.

Thousands of them have been meeting over all of your life, and I bet you never gave a thought to them. Did you ever wonder why you didn't hear anything about them?

Because GJ activities are secret, that's why.

The only reason you know anything about what's going on with this one is because witnesses who have appeared before it are talking--or getting their lawyers, friends or family to talk on their behalf.

But nothing you have heard has come from anyone at the DOJ or on the GJ itself. You know what you'll hear from the DOJ about the grand jury?

When they announce an indictment, or when they announce they're not filing an indictment.

That's when you officially know what's going on.

Welcome to reality.
