I have a close friend whose husband was just diagnosed then quickly operated on with a brain tumor.
he's 54. He was in Iraq and I know hew was around burn pits.
just fuck war. just fuck it all.

Due to the PACT Act, he will most likely be declared 100% disabled, and if he doesn't make it, his wife will be eligible for Dependent Indemnity
I know this because I lost my husband to Pancreatic Cancer, now presumptively linked to his service due to the PACT act signed by President Biden.
More has been done for military survivors than ever before.
Now to allow military survivors to remarry without penalty (only 5% ever remarry).
