According to Associated Press reporter Michael R. Sisak, the Manhattan DA's Office is seeking "e-mails exchanged among Trump Organization employees and the White House" as well as "e-mails between Trump's wife, Melania, and Rhona Graff, a longtime company executive."
Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, former senior adviser to Melania Trump and author of the 2020 book "Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship With the First Lady," responded to AP's reporting on Twitter.
Wolkoff tweeted, "Melania Trump used several email addresses, texts, and Signal to communicate with me and others while working in the White House and prosecutors want to see them."

(77 posts)It is amusing to speculate/fantasize about Melania being a witness and testifying.
She cannot be forced to testify against her husband.
She can be forced to testify about Nauta. She cannot use the 5th Amendment to avoid this.

(9,694 posts)They can't force her to testify against him, but she might do so willingly if she helped him committed tax fraud or other crimes, or covered up crimes.
I'm pretty sure she'd give him up if it mean getting a get out of jail free card.

(77 posts)She might well use her enormous wealth to get her own lawyers. And an education coach---she probably does not know enough English to grasp immunity and such.
Let alone any other language. She seems never to have studied even her mother tongue Slovenian.

(3,517 posts)But I'm willing to bet she was involved in some things. Unless the election was overturned, she wouldn't be first lady anymore, so she would have some incentive to do so.
