Maybe OSINTtechnical initially misidentified Kuzovlev and deleted the tweet. Alekseyev's presence is odd as we have video of him opposing Prigozhin's coup.

Is my understanding. Prigozhin got pissed off and this is his revenge. Apparently in one of his videos he talked about how the invasion was a lie.

So that throws a Truth bomb out there.

So why did Putin target the Wagner group. Seems anybody would want to retaliate if they were being attacked.

And another video recorded 10 mins ago. Prigozhin still at the HQ. Says he is allowing everyone inside to continue fighting the war and to do their jobs. Reiterates his issues with the MoD not prosecuting the war competently

7. Are these generals held against their will/under threat? I would have to think

the Wagner troops in and around the HQ must be ready to protect Prigozhin if anyone tries to kill or detain him. But why would you meet and chat peacefully with a coup instigator? Did they surrender to Wagner, or switch sides, or is this a trap that hasn't sprung yet? Or something else entirely, some kind of theater? Really weird shit.

moving away from the military HQ there in Rostov, while a huge Wagner column well north of Rostov could be en route to Moscow.

And there is precedent in modern Russia for such deals. Kadyrov (and his dad) were originally on the side of the rebels in the Second Chechen War (and had killed a lot of Russian soldiers) but then were convinced to switch sides and all was forgiven

We might very well see Moscow make a deal with Prigozhin - perhaps give him more power and say in how the war is being conducted.

They clearly don’t want to fight him and he has now made his point and also lowering the aggressiveness of his tone

The damage to Putin has already been done, by contradicting the official casualty reports and the whole reason for the SMO. Not sure if there is anyway for Putin to save face with a deal here.
