if he has any hope of getting the GOP nomination, which he doesn't anyhow.

Hunter was investigated for five years by a Trump-appointed US attorney and all they got on him was failing to pay income tax (not tax evasion or fraud) and a false statement on a gun purchase form. Five years of investigation, mostly during TFG's administration, and that's it? Even a Trump AUSA couldn't find charges to phony up? But they have to keep dragging poor Hunter because they don't have a damn thing on Joe.

and knows best. Then called the atty a 'ham and egger' and on and on. Then denigrated Connecticut for being small and lousy when it comes to the law. Then I turned to another channel so as to not lose my lunch.

they are always focused on "personal accountability" and leading efforts to shame women.

I am mot in the habit of running around mocking people who are overweight.

Therefore somebody else needs to be ready to step in and take over leading the perennially stupid MAGAts.

I'd say he has a better chance than DeSantis of becoming the Repuke nominee, but neither of those guys has a chance to beat Joe Biden next year.

If I went all over the internet admonishing people saying insulting things about short people, I wouldn't have time for anything else. Actually I have fun with it. If someone asks me how tall I am I say 4'16". Christie has fun with it, too. He sat there on a talk show and when the subject of his weight came up, he pulled a donut out of his pocket and shoved it into his mouth.

That doesn't diminish the pain that people feel from these stupid comments.

I've never been overweight, nor would I judge someone for that. But I find those of kind comments to be the very lowest of the low.

Sickening to see "appearance" insults here, but it's nothing new.

insulting otherwise decent people about their appearance, either. Especially when it's something they have no control over, like height. And some people who are overweight due to a medical condition have no control over it also. But when someone like Christie makes a living out of being a rude asshole, he needs to expect some incoming, and I'm sure he does. It's his persona and he is responsible for that. In fact, he cultivates it.

No matter what the courts do and no matter how long they investigate. I guess this is their new Benghazi. It says a lot that they have to start with Hunter - means they can't get anything on the President.
