Ukrainians are making heroic efforts to save pets and animals in danger due to flooding

Over the course of the invasion of Ukraine by Putin/Russia, I have seen numerous examples of Ukrainians rescuing and caring for pets and animals displaced or put into danger by this war. The Ukrainians care about their pets and animals and I applaud the efforts made by the Ukrainians to care for pets despite the hardships of this war.

The efforts of Ukrainians to save animals from the flood waters caused by the deliberate destruction of a dam by the Russians have really impressed me. These people are at war but they are taking the time to save pets and animals.

How a people take care of their pets and other animals says a great deal about these people

While the Russian evil is terrorizing and destroying all living things, we are doing and will continue to do everything to save every living creature!

Thousands and thousands of animals are trapped in the flood after the destruction of the dam and other structures of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant by Russia.

We remember that humanity means taking care not just of each other, but of all living beings. We, Ukrainians, save and protect lives. Thank you to everyone who helps!

I am almost too depressed to be angry. But then I realize that this is yet almost assuredly more evidence of intentional civilian murder/genocide/war crimes from Putin's minions.

The anger momentarily quells the tears. WE MUST STAND FIRM FOR UKRAINE.

Defenseless brings tears. The very next person I hear ragging about our supporting the Ukrainians, will have my wrath. I don’t care if it’s strangers or family. I just cannot remain silent about what’s going on anymore. Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦

May never let go of that person's leg again.

These poor babies are so scared, and so grateful. The rescuers are heroes!
