There was a bit of a dust-up this weekend when Elon Musk announced his choice for the new Twitter CEO (apparently because of the concerns of advertisers). The reason the chuds were so upset? The CEO is a woman, and she did a stint at the World Economic Forum, a favorite institution for the conspiracy theorists on Twitter.

...to pay for a blue checkmark. (She's probably pissed off that blue checks are no longer "earned"; you just pay them off to get one). I remember a few years ago, Loomer lost her blue check for multiple hate speech incidents; this was shortly before she was deplatformed entirely. Naturally, she compared what in fact were the predictable consequences of her own actions (deplatforming) to being a Holocaust victim.
