Desantis today says if students want to study “niche majors” they can go to schools like Berkeley, but FL colleges are now going to solely focus on “the basics.”

3. Repubs believe millions of students are enrolled in these majors and converting them into liberals.

So they are using this misinformation as a cudgel to begin attacks on higher education along with eliminating tenure. Soon, other majors such as all liberal arts majors and all science majors will be canceled. Eventually the only majors left will be business related ones and ones focused on Christianity and I'm not certain about the former.

4. Because students graduating from Florida High Schools will need remedial education in college.

And certainly no schools like Harvard which Ton also attended.

Why not ban Florida students from attending any out of State school for a real education, just like as States are trying to ban any woman seeking reproductive care or knowledge out of State??
