Negative impact on Florida has begun from the recently passed DeSantis’ anti-immigrant bill. Immigrant labor is leaving as construction work sites grapple with new restrictions. All to demonize people who simply want to work and be left alone while providing for their families.

Construction sites in Florida are vacant now that DeSantis shot his own state in the foot with his fascist immigration bill

So helpful for Florida. And the honest truth is that DeSantis could care less. He’s not there to help Florida or Floridians.

Hiring people who are not allowed to legally work here suppresses wages for everyone. They are often subject to wage theft and unsafe work conditions. The reality is employers don’t want to “fix the problem” because they like having cheap labor they can treat like crap.
