This gutted me. What if they are in the hallway, or bathroom and all the doors are locked? This shouldn’t be a reality for these kids. Or anyone.

A 6 yo having to fear for her life when she goes to school, having to memorize and practice what to do to try to avoid being shot - in America by other Americans. People my age did nuclear bomb drills for aggression by foreign enemies. Yet the most adults in charge are willing to do is offer "hopes and prayers" after the fact! I am angry that children in America are living in fear for their lives. When will the adults in their lives stand up to protect them? When???

Change starts with the ballot box! We all can do that at EVERY ELECTIOM and we don't need a gun to do it. The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to vote for good guys who aren't willing to allow this to carnage to continue to happen!
