The real reason they don't like woke

is because a woke population would be open to all kinds of the things that mean higher taxes for the richest: universal healthcare, livable wage, funded public schools, decent infrastructure, etc. Being empathetic to others causes people to want these things to be funded and the rich aren't gonna put up with that.

Look at the main pusher of anti-woke B.S. Ron DeSantis is funded by billionaires and the elite. He takes his marching orders from them. Obviously, he can't say I don't think the rich should pay for any of the things you need. He has to dress it up in some downhome way to make the rightwingers buy into it.

It's always all about the richest people's money no matter what they say.
