Every shooting reminds me of something Bill Hicks said

"There is a 3rd point of view on the gun control issue - those who I refer to as THE VICTIMS - but they remain strangely silent." ~ Bill Hicks

ONE picture of the aftermath of children killed by Guns…too offensive for the violent soaked American public and daily media? Laughable.

they get plenty of thanks at the news conferences (which they deserve). But I'd like to hear from them what they witness.

Was an EMT firefighter.

Had to quit. PTSD.

He is truly a lost soul at this point.

A thought just came to me….maybe Covid isn’t responsible for the kid’s bad test scores at all. Maybe the kids just can’t take it any more. That photo is heart gripping. Poor babies.

I know it's completely insensitive to the victims families, but until the people witness the horror guns are causing, no amount of posturing will move the needle.

I remember being at work the morning of the Sandy Hook massacre. All I could think about was the tiny caskets.
The knuckle draggers in the next cube over? All they could do was shop on line for the same gun the murderer used.

Disgusting.

You have to 'show them.' I think if I had a kid who was killed in gun violence, I would at least want them to show the little coffin. I'd be an angry motherfucker if I had a child who was slaughtered in school.

The little girl running naked and terrified in Vietnam. Emmett Till. Tate-LaBianca crime scene photos. I remember watching a monk set himself on fire to protest the Vietnam war on the 6 o'clock news.

It sounds horrible. but nothing else is going to turn people away from rabid gunhumpers. They like shoving pictures of fetuses in our faces (withOUT their usual concern for the children who would see it), so let them get a taste of their own medicine.

Along with the little girl running, of course, and the one of a South Vietnamese general executing a Viet Cong officer by shooting him in the head.

Those 3 photos were permanently burned into my brain, more than any others from thst war!

Of the little girl on the bus is iconic and useful.

Magats are all butthurt when someone says something they don't like, they don't want their kids to feel bad about anything, especially when it comes to the horrid results of their refusal to do anything to keep the children safe.

So this picture should be used like the pictures of fetuses & whatever else those fucking magats shove in our faces while they screech about how evil nonmagats are, shove this in their face. A picture of a little white girl, terrified, crying pleading for help of some kind. Show them this and say,

"So you care about the children and how they shouldn't feel bad or hurt, well what have you to say about this? A little white girl scared to death because somebody was able to get a weapon of war and use it on civilians, obliterating them. How does that square with your complaints?"

Fuck, I have had enough of this. Proud of their assumed ignorance... most of them do know better, they just want a free ride on somebody else's dime.
